A young girl, walking through an orchard searching for the perfect fruit. She is overcome with the smells of autumn and can’t contain her excitement. As she looks up at a gnarled and twisted tree that holds the most perfect apple she has ever seen. The outer skin is a beautiful combination of the deepest reds and the most radiant yellows. As she takes a bite the inside is snow white. These are some of the visual images that I had in my head when I painted “Rustic Harvest.”
